Headstock Identity Tags/Labels

ALL American motorcycles from October 1969 were required by law to be fitted with compliance tag adhered to the motorcycle headstock.

From January 1972 these tags were also required to have various carrying capacities stated as well.

Over the Months tags varied, typeface varied and in some cases not only were there monumental spelling mistakes but also incorrect years were actually stamped on the tags!

We can supply not only the correct tag but also the correct date of manufacture on the tag.
